About Core Value

Core Value Fitness Centre was opened in Dec 2013. Its founder Leonie dreamed of a sophisticated fitness club that had modern equipment and conveniences that would compare to any city gym.

Leonie had been working out of a home PT studio for several years and realised there was a need in the town for a gym that women (sorry guys!) could go to do strength training and feel comfortable in the environment while they were there.

And so the business relocated and grew into the 24/7 facility that we have now.

Many years and a pandemic later we continue our team supports the Loxton and surrounding areas with their fitness and wellbeing goals.

Our Team

Leonie

CEO and head coach

While growing up sport was never a love for Leonie as she always found herself lacking energy and would struggle through a game of netball. At 13 she was diagnosed with underactive thyroid and this connected some dots as to her constant fatigue. Always in the ball games on sports day in high school she knew she could never be an athlete. To keep in shape she joined an aerobics class and the old Loxton gym to take part in their circuit and body pump class. Over the next few year’s strength training was off and on again depending on time and motivation. It wasn’t until after the birth of her second child in 2008 that health and fitness took on new meaning and passion.

In 2011 at the age of 32, at a cross road in life after being a stay at home mum for 5 years, life coach Sheree Cameron guided her to realise how passionate Leonie was about helping people and how fitness had become such an integrated part of life and so Leonie decided to study to become a personal trainer.
